Celestial Navigation at
Home How to determine our position on the Earth by observing
the celestial bodies and using simple tools available at home and some

How to locate the celestial
bodies in the sky How to determine the relative position of a
celestial body (both Azimuth and Elevation) by reading the ephemeris
tables of the Sun, planets and stars; and then, how to locate these
celestial bodies in the sky by using a magnetic compass and our
astrolable. This is in some way the inverse problem stated above.
